Glowing Skin Top Fruits and Vegetables

We desire for all to have a healthy and glowing skin. If you are amongst those whose skin are dull and not well moisturised, and need enough radiance, try out these fruits and vegetables in your diet daily and you will notice a drastic change in your skin.

Amla or Indian gooseberry


Amla or the Indian gooseberry is rich in vitamin A and helps to increase the production of collagen. This is necessary for your skin to be glowing. You can consume its juice while your stomach is empty in the morning to lower the collagen degeneration.



Beetroot is full of antioxidants that your skin requires. It prevents wrinkle appearance and makes sure your skin looks glowing pink. You can have boiled beetroots in your daily meals rather than the raw ones.



Apple ensures that you do not face premature ageing of skin and damage due to free radicals. It gives your skin radiance from within and keeps it firm. One apple a day is good to go for healthy skin.

Pumpkin seeds help in brightening the complexion of your skin as they contain zinc. They control the oil secretion and improve the tone of your skin. You can have these seeds as a snack or as a dressing to any food to make it crunchy.

Sweet potato


The vitamin A present in sweet potato fights the bacteria causing acne on your skin and the vitamin C contained in it improves your skin tone and aids in the healing of acne scars. You can have it as a snack boiled and add spices of your choice along with lemon juice.



Lycopene is an antioxidant present in tomatoes that boosts the inner glow of your skin due to its properties of anti ageing and natural sunscreen. Due to their acidic nature, tomatoes help to tighten your pores and prevent the pimples. Tomatoes are usually added as a puree to many dishes but you can also have it raw or in a salad.



Strawberries have malic acid in them that act as a whitening agent. Also the presence of antioxidants in them gives you radiance from within. You can have strawberries as it is, or add them to your yogurt or smoothie. You can also them externally as a mask by mashing them and keep it on for about 15 minutes to get glowing skin.
