When you are anemic you are bound to suffer from various kinds of symptoms like dizziness, pain in the chest, headache, cold feet and hands, shortness of breath, etc. Most Americans suffer from this awful disease which happens when the red blood cells in your body counts less than the normal rate. Red blood cells are carrier of hemoglobin that helps to increase oxygen level in all the areas of your body.
Cut one beetroot, three carrots and one half portion of a sweet potato and put it into a juicer. The juice which is formed should be consumed at least one time in a day.
2. Black-strap molasses
Take a cup of warm water or milk and mix to it one tbsp. of black strap molasses. Consume this drink once or even twice every day. This drink is highly recommended for to be mothers.
Spinach soup if had daily will help you recover from anemia. Slice one cup of spinach and make a paste out of it by adding a bit of water. Make the paste in a food processor. Warm up I tbsp. of olive oil in a pan and add to it some chopped garlic, clove and onion. After the onion turns brown add to it the spinach puree. Sprinkle some salt and heat the soup on a low flame for around 5 minutes.
Along with one cup of pomegranate juice add one fourth teaspoon of cinnamon powder and two teaspoons of honey. Have this drink daily along with your breakfast.
Keep one tablespoons of black sesame seeds soaked in warm water for about two hours. Grind the seeds well to make a paste out of it. Add one tablespoon of honey and blend it well. Consume this at least twice a day to get effective results.
Two dates should be kept in a cup of milk for the entire night. As soon as you wake up the next morning you should consume the two dates and the milk in empty stomach.
In a bowl add same amount of apple juice and beetroot juice. Along with this add a little bit of honey. To get effective results have this juice twice a day.
Banana is rich in iron thereby it also increases the production of hemoglobin in your body. Hemoglobin is required to form red blood cells. Along with one smashed ripe banana add one tablespoon of Indian gooseberry juice. Consume this juice at least once or thrice a day.
10.Black dried Currant
Keep around 10 to 12 black dried currants soaked in water for one entire night. The next day after removing them from water separate the seeds from the skin. Before consuming your breakfast, you should have the skin of the black dried currant every day. You should follow this procedure for quite a few weeks.
In one cup of rice add two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds. Cook this and add some salt to consume it.
